What should I avoid while taking Robinul?

While you're taking Robinul (glycopyrrolate), you should avoid driving if the drug makes you drowsy or causes blurry vision. You should also be cautious about drinking alcohol, since that can intensify the drowsiness Robinul can cause.

Certain medications may cause side effects when taken with Robinul, so tell your doctor about all prescription and over-the-counter drugs you take, as well as any herbal or dietary supplements. In particular, he or she is likely to closely monitor any potential side effects from any of the drugs known as anticholinergics, ipratropium, sedatives, sleeping pills and tranquilizers, as well as medications for the following conditions:
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • irritable bowel disease
  • mental illness
  • motion sickness
  • Parkinson's disease
  • seizures
  • ulcers
  • urinary problems
