What should I avoid while taking Relistor (methylnaltrexone)?

Relistor (methylnaltrexone) may cause certain side effects, such as dizziness and drowsiness, that may affect your ability to think or react quickly. Therefore, it is recommended that you avoid driving and doing other potentially dangerous activities until you know how your body responds to the medication. You should avoid taking other laxatives while taking Relistor, and also avoid changing any medications you are taking before consulting with a doctor, as some medications (especially narcotics) may interact with Relistor.
