What should I know about Cantil before taking it?

It is not known if Cantil is harmful to the fetus or transmitted to breast milk. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or a nursing mother, before taking this drug. Discuss the use of this drug with your doctor before you have surgery or dental surgery. Cantil can cause drowsiness and care should be taken while driving or operating machinery. Do not drink alcohol while taking Cantil. This drug can cause you to sweat less than usual and you should avoid becoming overheated. Elderly people may be more sensitive to the side effects of Cantil. The use of this drug has not been studied in children. In addition, you should know that its efficacy in healing peptic ulcers, decreasing ulcer recurrence rate or preventing complications has never been demonstrated in studies.
