Donna Hill Howes, RN
Family Medicine
Toviaz, a prescription medicine to treat overactive bladder, can be taken at any time of the day. You just need to take it at that same time each day. Toviaz can be taken with or without meals. But you must take it with liquid. Do not chew, divide, or crush the pill. To make sure that you remember to take Toviaz, try to make it a part of your daily routine. For instance, try taking it when you eat breakfast each day.
