In clinical studies, Toviaz showed valuable benefits for overactive bladder. The 4 milligram (mg) and 8 mg doses may be particularly helpful. The research compared Toviaz to a sugar pill. It was shown that the 4 mg and 8 mg doses significantly reduced the number of times spent urinating in a 24-hour period.
