What are the side effects of Zegerid?

Zegerid may cause headaches, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, mild fever, or white patches or sores on the inside of your mouth or lips.

More serious side effects include bleeding or bruising more easily, or developing a fast, flow, or uneven heartbeat. If you have any of these side effects, contact your doctor immediately. If you have side effects of an allergic reaction, such as hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, get immediate medical attention.
