What should I know about Neo-Synephrine before using it?

Before you use Neo-Synephrine, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Do not give the medication to a child younger than four years of age. Cold medications that are given improperly can cause death in young children. Tell your doctor if your symptoms worsen or if you notice new symptoms after one week of taking Neo-Synephrine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage for this medicine. If you use Neo-Synephrine more often or longer than recommended, then your nasal congestion symptoms can actually worsen.
