How soon after starting glycopyrrolate will my symptoms improve?

How soon your symptoms improve after you start taking glycopyrrolate (Robinul) depends on the way you take it and why you're taking it. If you're taking glycopyrrolate as a tablet to treat peptic ulcers (sores in the stomach or small intestine), the medication may begin to reduce your stomach's production of acid within hours, but it may take up to eight weeks for the medication to help heal your ulcer.

Glycopyrrolate injections, which are usually prescribed for people with peptic ulcers who can't take oral medication, work faster than tablets.

If you're giving your child glycopyrrolate liquid (which is sold under the brand name Cuvposa) to reduce excessive drooling (sometimes caused by a neurologic condition, such as cerebral palsy), you may notice some reduction in saliva production within a couple of hours and a significant improvement in drooling over the course of two months.
