How should I take propantheline?

Propantheline is a tablet that you swallow. You should take propantheline exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Most people take it four times a day, about 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime. If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is close to the time for your next dose, however, skip the missed dose. Don't double up on doses to make up for a missed dose. Propantheline can cause dry mouth and dehydration, so be sure to drink plenty of water with each dose.
