Is there a cure for carcinoid syndrome?

Curing carcinoid syndrome has to do with curing the cancer that causes it. There are a variety of treatments from surgery to chemotherapy that may help with eliminating carcinoid tumors. But because the syndrome is associated with severe cases of the cancer, it may be difficult to put an end to it.
