The side effects of Prevacid SoluTab (lansoprazole) include diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, headache, and nausea. Other common side effects include itching and rash. If you have less common side effects such as stomach pain, change in appetite, bone pain, and vomiting, let your doctor know. Other rare side effects include anxiety, flu-like symptoms, cough, depression, muscle pain, rectal bleeding, and unusual bruising or bleeding. If you experience jaundice (yellowing of your skin and eyes) or symptoms of liver damage, call your doctor right away.

If any of these side effects are severe or do not go away, tell your doctor. Call 911 for emergency medical help if you have symptoms of an allergic reaction that include swelling of your face or throat, hives, and difficulty breathing.
