Do vaginal anti-fungal creams interact with other medications?

No drug interactions are expected to occur with the use of vaginal anti-fungal creams. However, talk to your doctor about all of the medications you are taking, including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and supplements to ensure that you do not have a dangerous drug overdose. Some hygienic products may affect the action of the vaginal anti-fungal creams, including douching and tampons. Avoid these products while using vaginal anti-fungal cream, unless you are told otherwise by a doctor.
