Refrigerate alfalfa sprouts in their container; they will keep for four to five days. Check them daily and remove any that have become discolored or slimy, plus those immediately surrounding them.

If you enjoy alfalfa sprouts, you can always have a fresh supply if you grow your own, which you can easily do in just two to three days.
