What is Vigamox?

Vigamox is a brand name prescription antibiotic that is used to treat pink eye (bacterial conjunctivitis). It comes as an eye drop to be used three times daily. It is part of a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones, which work by killing the underlying bacteria causing the infection. The generic name for the active ingredient is moxifloxacin.
