Common side effects of Vigamox include: excess tears, dry or red eyes, eye irritation and itching, cough, nasal drip and blurry vision. These generally do not require medical attention unless they become severe. More serious side effects include: any vision loss, ear problems, sore throat, fever, eye pain and chills. If you are using Vigamox and experience these or other worrisome side effects, you should see a doctor as soon as possible. If you experience an allergic reaction with symptoms that may include rashes, itchiness, labored breathing, chest pain or facial, tongue or throat swelling, get immediate emergency medical attention, call 911.
