Should I take Levaquin if I am pregnant or nursing?

There have been no studies to show the effect of Levaquin during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, talk to your doctor before taking Levaquin. If you are a nursing mother, you should talk with your doctor about possible side effects your baby may experience since the levofloaxcin in the Levaquin can pass through breast milk. Your doctor will decide whether you should stop breastfeeding or stop taking Levaquin depending on the importance of the medicine to you.
