Can I take Factive if I'm breast-feeding?

It is not known if Factive can pass through breast milk to a nursing infant. However, studies show that Factive is present in the breast milk of nursing laboratory animals given this drug. Because of this, your doctor may prescribe Factive only if its benefits outweigh any potential risks to your infant.
