What factors affect my chances of sticking to an exercise program?

There are many factors that can affect your success of sticking with exercise. Your motivation level, time constraints and energy all play a major role. Your general health is also a factor: Injuries can lead to exercise setbacks, and anxiety about going to the gym can make working out a challenge. It comes down to making time for what’s important to you. When you’re ready, you will commit the time and find the support necessary to achieve your fitness goals.

  • Support from others
  • Positive beliefs about the benefits of exercise
