Does the Parks and Recreation Department run classes for families?

For a sure answer you need to call the parks and rec department in your area.  The one here in Gillette, WY is a family-based facility and runs several family classes.  We have a seasonal book/brochure that lists all the programs, times and age groups.  Some classes are seasonal, so always call ahead to make sure of times and availability.  Many do have limited space available, depending on what you are looking for, such as activities with your toddler.  Come in, take a tour, and find out whats available now for you and your family!

Yes, almost all of them do. Check your local listing for the schedule of classes in your area.

Many of the Parks and recreation Departments not only offer classes for families but will offer fun family events.  Check your local Recreation center for their class schedules and events.
