How do I give chest compressions during CPR on a child?

  • Give 30 chest compressions. 
  • Push hard, push fast to a depth of about 2 inches and at a rate of at least 100 compressions per minute. 
  • Lift up, allowing the chest to fully return to its normal position, but keep contact with the chest.
