If I am with an injured person, when do I give care before calling 9-1-1?

With Care First situations, the conditions often are related to breathing emergencies. 

Care First (give 2 minutes of care, then call 9-1-1 or the local emergency number) for:
 
  • An unconscious child (younger than about 12 years of age) who you did not see collapse.
  • Any victim of a drowning.
