What are the short-term side effects of Lyrica?

Like any medication, Lyrica can cause side effects. A few short-term side effects you may notice include:
  • dizziness
  • drowsiness
  • blurry vision
  • dry mouth
  • trouble concentrating
  • insomnia
  • feeling "high" or "buzzed"
Side effects from taking a new medication often fade over time. But if you develop serious or persistent side effects, particularly if any swelling develops, call your doctor right away.
