Who should not use tioconazole?

You should not use tioconazole if you have a known allergy to it or if you have fever, abdominal pain or discharge with a strong odor. These symptoms could indicate a problem other than a yeast infection. If you have diarrhea or flu-like symptoms, do not use tioconazole without first consulting your doctor. Tioconazole should be used with caution in people who have diabetes or HIV/AIDS.
