What are the side effects of Bravelle?

The signs of a severe allergic reaction to Bravelle (urofollitropin) include hives, breathing difficulty, and swelling of the face, throat, tongue, or lips. Get immediate emergency help if you experience any of these symptoms. A life-threatening condition called ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) may occur in some women and is most likely to happen within 10 days of receiving the last dose of a treatment cycle. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of these symptoms of OHSS: severe pain in the pelvic area, swelling in hands or legs, swelling and pain in the stomach, shortness of breath, weight gain, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, or urinating less than usual. Less serious side effects include constipation; mild stomach upset; pain or cramps in the pelvis; tender breasts; hot flashes; rash; acne; and swelling, redness, irritation, or pain at the site of the injection.
