Can I have other surgery with a limited incision rhytidectomy?

Stuart A. Linder, MD
Plastic Surgery

The patient may have other surgical procedures both invasive and non-invasive combined with the rhytidectomy. Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasties) may be performed to remove excess skin and eyelid fat along both upper and lower lids. A neck lift may be performed to tighten the platysmal muscle and remove skin. Laser therapy may be used to tighten the outer skin around the eyes, forehead, and mouth regions. Submental liposuction of the center neck may also be useful.
