Does insurance cover a neck lift?

The best way to be certain about insurance coverage is to check with your insurance company. Typically a neck lift for the purpose of enhancing appearance (cosmetic surgery) is not covered.

In general insurance does not cover a neck lift. Cosmetic surgery is not covered by health insurance. Health insurance can cover functional plastic surgical procedures such as breast reconstruction, breast reduction, severe eyelid ptosis, and breathing airway problems such as septal deviation or nasal fractures.
