What surgery options besides Lasik are available?

One option is PRK, which reshapes the front surface of the cornea after the skin cells are removed. In this procedure, the skin cells grow back and as a result, patients may heal more slowly than LASIK surgery patients. Another option is the implantation of a collamer lens inside your eye. This lens is implanted with minor surgery and performs the same function as a contact lens.
