How should the Exelon patch be used?

Apply a new Exelon patch once a day. The patch should be applied to clean, smooth, dry skin. Don't apply it to cracked, irritated or hairy skin. Don't apply the patch to skin that has been treated with cream or lotion. The package will give you instructions on where to apply the Exelon patch. Change the spot where you apply Exelon with each fresh patch. You can reuse a spot after 14 days. Don't attach the patch to skin that could be rubbed by tight clothing. When you remove a patch, fold it in half so the sticky sides touch and throw it away. Tell your doctor if you develop a rash that swells or blisters, or spreads beyond where you applied the patch.
