Who should take estropipate?

Estropipate is intended for postmenopausal women who want to control symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes and vaginal irritation, dryness or burning or to treat vaginal or vulval atrophy. It is also intended to prevent osteoporosis for postmenopausal women at high risk. This drug may also be used as an estrogen replacement for premenopausal women with failure of the ovaries.
