Who should not take Estrace?

Do not take Estrace if you are pregnant, or if you have:

allergic reactions to certain medicines
cancers of the breast or uterus
any cancer that would be stimulated by hormones
history of blood clots
liver disease
recent heart attack or stroke
unusual vaginal bleeding

If the following apply, your doctor may need to conduct tests or change your Estrace dose:

asthma
endometriosis
gallbladder disease
heart disease
hysterectomy
kidney disease
family history of blood clots
low calcium levels in your blood
lupus
migraines
previous jaundice caused by pregnancy or hormone treatments
porphyria
seizure disorder
underactive thyroid
