What are the side effects of Natazia?

The most common side effects of using Natazia birth control pills are nausea, vaginal bleeding between periods, headaches and tender breasts. Less common side effects are weight gain, acne, reduced sexual desire, bloating, high blood pressure, increased blood sugar (especially in women with diabetes), higher fat levels in the blood and dark patches on the skin, especially the face. Natazia can also increase a woman's risk of depression, especially if she has been depressed in the past.

Natazia can also increase a woman's risk of heart attack, stroke, blood clots and liver disease, so call your doctor right away if you have sudden shortness of breath, chest pain, persistent leg pain, a severe headache that comes on suddenly, weakness in one limb or trouble speaking, or yellowing of the skin or eyeballs.
