What is Estrace vaginal cream?

Estrace vaginal cream, or estradiol vaginal, is a prescription estrogen treatment which is inserted into the vagina with a specific applicator. It treats vaginal dryness, burning and irritation resulting from menopause. It can also reduce the urge to frequently urinate and soothe otherwise painful urination.
