What is Delestrogen?

Delestrogen is an estradiol injection for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that supplements the body's natural supply of the hormone estrogen. Estradiol is a form of estrogen. Menopause symptoms that result from a shortage of estrogen, including hot flashes, vaginal dryness, burning and irritation, can be treated with Delestrogen. Ovarian failure and hypogonadism, which also lead to a lack of estrogen, can be treated by this drug, too. Men with prostate cancer may also find symptomatic relief from Delestrogen.
