Conjugated estrogens vaginal cream can be very helpful for treating vaginal dryness or thinning, which can make sex uncomfortable and less pleasurable for a woman in menopause. The cream, which contains a mixture of estrogen hormones, is inserted into the vagina and absorbed through the vaginal tissues.

The amount of estrogen in the cream is small, but even so, using this drug can increase your risk of breast cancer, uterine cancer and ovarian cancer. Conjugated estrogens vaginal cream may also increase your risk of stroke, heart attack, blood clots, dementia, gallbladder disease, high blood pressure, liver problems and high blood sugar.
