How should I take estropipate?

You should take estropipate exactly as directed by your doctor. Typically, this will be once a day immediately after food for postmenopausal hormone replacement therapy (HRT). When used as HRT for premenopausal estrogen deficiency, it might be prescribed once or twice a day, immediately after food. Taking estropipate just after a meal decreases nausea.
