How does Natazia work to prevent pregnancy?

Natazia is a birth control pill that, when taken as directed, prevents pregnancy by suppressing ovulation, which is the release of an egg by a woman's ovaries. If an egg is released and fertilized, Natazia may also cause changes in the uterine lining that help prevent the fertilized egg from being implanted.
