Does estradiol vaginal ring interact with other medications or food?

Grapefruit and grapefruit juice may increase levels of estradiol in the body. Some antifungals, antibiotics, sleep aids and seizure treatments may interact with estradiol vaginal ring, so ask your doctor or pharmacist. Some diabetes treatments may cause complications. St. John's Wort should not be taken while using estradiol vaginal ring. Talk to your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any medications.
