Are there any risks in taking Enjuvia?

Enjuvia contains estrogen, which can increase the risk of uterine cancer. Women who have not had a hysterectomy should also take progestin when taking estrogen. Progestin helps prevent cancer of the uterus when taking estrogen, but can increase the risk of breast cancer. Using estrogen also can increase the risk of heart attacks, stroke, serious blood clots and dementia. The longer you take estrogen, the higher the risk of these serious effects.
