Beware of Frauds and the Damage They Can Do

Beware of Frauds and the Damage They Can Do

Whether it’s the true story of Frank Abignale, Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) in Catch Me If You Can, or a male sexual enhancement product called XtraHRD—initially marketed as a harmless herbal supplement while actually containing tadalafil—frauds are out there and they’re potentially very dangerous.

Fortunately, Abginale didn’t physically harm anyone, but the tadalafil found in XtraHRD can have a negative interaction with nitrates such as nitroglycerin (used for treating chest pain for people with heart disease) and has been known to cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, which can be fatal.

The FDA is constantly exposing dangerous over-the-counter supplements that include, in addition to sexual enhancement products, dietary supplements, bodybuilding and weight loss products, and arthritis and pain elixirs. Just google “Health Fraud Scams FDA” for the latest news.

In the meantime, we have a few suggestions that will help you regain your sexual health without the potentially dangerous supplements.

  • Avoid the Five Food Felons (all added sugar and syrups, trans and saturated fats and processed grains) and you’ll reduce the risk of poor cardiovascular health, a primary culprit in ED.
  • Exercise regularly to improve blood and oxygen flow to all parts of the body.
  • Don’t smoke anything.
  • Reduce alcohol intake, which could end ED problems immediately.
  • Enjoy as much sexual activity as you can. Stimulation now can lead to improved activation down the road.
