Dr. Michael Roizen, MD
Internal Medicine
Most of the time, the cause of erectile dysfunction (ED) is physical. Years ago, most docs thought these problems in the bedroom were caused by psychological problems. You worry too much! You’re stressed out! Too bad guys back then were made to believe ED was all in their heads. Now we know that in 3 out of 4 men, ED is caused by a health problem like high blood pressure, cardiovascular problems, heart disease, or diabetes. Treating the problem early on may help both your ED and your longevity.
