What is reflex epilepsy?

Reflex epilepsy happens when specific environmental cues trigger epilepsy. These triggers may be startling noises, flashing lights, certain music, specific movements, or being touched on certain parts of the body. Reflex epilepsy is also known as environmental epilepsy.
