Side effects of Creon 20 include: diarrhea, intestinal blockage, nausea and stomach cramps or pain. In very high doses, joint pain, swelling of the feet or lower legs and blood in the urine can occur. Accidentally inhaling the powder contained in the Creon capsule can cause lung problems and should be avoided. In some cases, Creon may cause a serious allergic reaction known as anaphylaxis. If an allergic reaction is experienced, such as swelling, hives and difficulty breathing, immediate medical attention should be obtained. Immediate medical assistance is needed for severe abdominal pain; this could by symptomatic of a serious bowel disorder.
