What factors can affect my energy levels?

Ms. Ashley Koff, RD
Nutrition & Dietetics
Keep in mind that there is no single approach to optimizing energy, and neither diet nor exercise alone will balance your body's massive and complex energy equation. The combination of various habits, from how you stock your kitchen to how you manage stress, achieve restful sleep, cope with chronic conditions, and schedule exercise are just a few of the important players in your energy level. Without a doubt, they also play into your health, happiness, and looks as well. It would be impossible to say which of these factors is more important. They all bear weight, and perhaps which one carries the most depends on your uniqueness, especially as they relate to your genetics and other lifestyle choices.
