The worst way that uterine cancer can affect your body is to spread to other organs. However, in stage 3, uterine cancer is still confined to the pelvis and has not yet spread to the bladder or intestines. If you have any symptoms of uterine cancer, see your doctor immediately. The recovery rate from uterine cancer is high if the disease is caught and treated early. In stage 3 the lymph nodes in the pelvis may be affected, but you may still be able to prevent cancer from spreading to more distant parts of the body.
