How do medications treat uterine cancer?

At early stages of uterine it is unlikely that you will need medication to treat the cancer after surgery. Medication is usually used in conjunction with a hysterectomy for more advanced cases of uterine cancer. If uterine cancer has spread to the lymph nodes, your doctor will likely use either chemotherapy or radiation medication to kill the cancer. Radiation can be administered either within or outside of the body. Chemotherapy medication can be taken orally or injected.
