What is testosterone replacement therapy?

In many cases testosterone replacement effectively reduces the symptoms of men undergoing andropause. Many men respond to treatment in 3-6 weeks. Replacement therapies include:
  • Injections
  • Pills
  • Patches—commonly referred to as Androderm® which contain testosterone
  • Gels—such as Androgel® dispense metered doses of testosterone once daily. The gel maintains testosterone levels over 24hrs.
Such therapies may conflict with preexisting physical conditions; our physicians recommend the option most beneficial to your overall health.
