Is there a cure for pheochromocytoma?

Pheochromocytoma can be cured by removal of the tumor. Before removing the tumor, however, doctors prescribe a number of medications to stabilize your blood pressure.

If your pheochromocytoma has spread or is cancerous, doctors may recommend radiation or chemotherapy to stop the tumor's growth.
