Does Pitressin interact with other medications and foods?

Pitressin (vasopressin) interacts with certain antidepressants, lithium, heparin, clofibrate, chlorpropamide, demeclocycline, fludrocortisones, carbamazepine, urea or norepinephrine. Tell your doctor if you drink alcohol, smoke or take any other medications including illegal drugs. Water or liquids may help to reduce the immediate reactions of nausea that sometimes accompany a dose of vasopressin.
