While taking Premphase, you should avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice, and taking certain medications, including St. John’s wort, aminogluthethimide, hydantoins, rifampin, anticoagulants, corticosteroids, or succinylcholine. You should also not become pregnant or breast feed while taking this medication.
