How do medications treat acoustic neuromas?

Medications are not usually used to treat acoustic neuromas. Some are treated with radiation, which involves local anesthesia. Others are surgically removed, which requires general anesthesia. Yet others are simply watched and left untreated unless they start to cause problems or show signs of growth.
